When would someone need an extraction?

At Ogilvie Dental, we do everything possible to preserve your natural teeth. However, in some cases, it may be necessary to remove one or more teeth that are beyond repair.

We also provide wisdom teeth removal services.  Your dentist may recommend wisdom teeth removal in cases where the wisdom teeth are crowding other teeth, have only partially erupted, or where gum infection or tooth decay is present.

How do you restore the appearance after an extraction?

In cases where an extraction is necessary, the extraction procedure can be followed by a restorative procedure to replace the missing tooth (or teeth) with a dental implant, bridge or dentures.
